The interactive mailbox on the homepage uses local sample messages. Try Inbox, Read, and Write to see the app's shape. It does not connect to Google, create a Gmail draft, or send mail.

support@briskmail.appYes. Briskmail works with the labels and drafts in the Gmail account you sign in to. Changes you make in the app go back to Gmail.
Settings → Storage offers 30 days, 90 days, one year, or all mail for the local copy, subject to a storage limit. The newest 2,000 Inbox conversations are included in the target. Gmail search can find older mail that has not been copied locally.
Choose Mailbox → Check for New Mail or press ⌘R. The sidebar activity line shows sync and offline work. Briskmail also checks for changes when push is unavailable.
Yes. In Settings → Privacy, change Load remote images from Always to From known senders or Ask. Briskmail has no image proxy, so loading a remote image can tell its sender that you opened the message and reveal your IP address.
Briskmail revokes the account's Google token and removes its local cached mail. If Google cannot be reached, the local data is still removed; you can revoke app access from your Google Account.
Deactivate Briskmail on the old Mac, then activate it on the new one. A license can be active on up to three Macs at a time once sales open.
No. Briskmail is built for Gmail accounts and connects through the Gmail API. It does not offer a general IMAP or Exchange connection.
You can read messages already in the local copy. Supported changes and queued sends wait for a connection; mail outside the local copy needs Gmail to be reachable.
